 Visio Divina\, sacred seeing\, is an ancient form of prayer.\nIt combines

  indwelling Spirit of God.  The images we will focus on are taken from th
 e St. John’s Bible -- the first completely handwritten and illuminated B
 ible produced since the invention of the printing press!\nThe St. John’s
  Illuminated Bible was commissioned in 1998 by the Benedictines of College
 ville\, Minnesota as a millennium project.  It is a significant artistic 
 and spiritual creation which  merges ancient traditions of manuscript cre
 ation and contemporary artistic expression.\nThe project was led by the re
 nowned Welsh calligrapher\, Donald Jackson\, who served as royal scribe to
